Neil Carmichael’s public meetings continue to be popular and effective

Neil Carmichael, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Stroud, has been holding public meetings across the constituency to enable electors to meet and question him. These meetings are in addition to the occasional debates between all of the candidates for the next election.
Neil Carmichael commented, “Last Friday’s meeting in Edge Village Hall was a great opportunity to discuss the implications of and remedies for the mounting public sector debt. Other key public issues were examined, including education standards with a particular focus on access to good schools.”
Neil confirmed that more meetings are planned. He noted, “This week, I will be answering questions in Woodchester and this month I will also be available in Stinchcombe.”
Neil added, “One popular format is to hold these events in pubs. So far, I have done this four times and many more are planned. For example, electors in Painswick will be able to test me on Wednesday 24 March, 7.00pm in “The Falcon”.
“Dates are being arranged in several other pubs for the next few weeks. Please contact me for more information.”
